PSSST! Narinig mo na ba ang latest?! BUKAS NA ANG JOLLIBEE SA DUBAI MALL!!

The anticipation and the LONG wait is over! Jollibee in Dubai is now OPEN!

After the longing to smell and taste something that is totally "Langhap Sarap", Jollibee has finally opened in one of the world's biggest malls in one of the world's most visited city - Dubai!

Ganito ang sabi nila nung kumalat na ang balita na bukas na ang Jollibee sa Dubai Mall!

Yes! Di kayo nagkakamali! Jollibee is now open to serve anyone who craves for the best Filipino fast food. Of course, di lang naman mga kabayan ang naghahanap at kumakain sa Jollibee. Even other nationalities were hooked of the hype that this news caused. Other consumers in the said mall were surprised of how the Filipino community waited in line to get their hands on anything that is Jollibee. Even if it takes them for than 3 hours to wait in line!
Jollibee is one of the many requested pasalubog from the Philippines specially to OFWs who has got home for a vacation for quite a time
.
According to the first few that had their first taste of Jollibee Dubai, everything taste just like the ones in the Philippines - even the gravy! This makes the news more spectacular to every Kabayan in any Emirate and would like to get a chance to order anything on the menu. Of course there is no pork available as everything is certified HALAL, but still Jollibee has maintained the taste of how it should be - Langhap Sarap!

Even other nationalities were bewildered on the hype that Jollibee-Dubai's opening created.
Jollibee is a very know Filipino fast food that appeals to all ages. When the company ventured to open overseas, the hype was uncontrollable and very much anticipated. As each door would open, all cravings were more than satisfied. Branches that opened in the U.S. and in Singapore was a major hit as a good number of Filipinos are now based there.

Jollibee is best enjoyed with family and friends!
We in #MisterJuanInDubai are very excited about this news and are very proud of this brand! So for those who wants to get their hands on those yummy Yumburgers; the saucy Burger Steaks; the satisfying Jolly Spaghetti; the mouth watering Pies and of course the joyous Chicken Joy - prepare as the journey would be a herculean one! Do you want to take the risk?

Lets us not fret as the word of Jollibee himself got us secured: KAYA MO YAN!

The Drug Mule Case. #MisterJuanInDubaiReacts

Social Media has been flooded of the posts and news about the Filipina that was saved from being executed in Indonesia.

After the announcement of the reprieve, the Family states that the Philippine Government should not get any credit as the masses were responsible for it. The Mother even said that now that they are back in the country, they will be asking the government of what is due for this situation and will not back out to any amicable requests from the government.

The President, in response to her statement said that they did not create this problem before hand and efforts should now focus on bringing in the real minds of this crime.

I have not been in this situation and pray to never be in one.

But now, the reactions are just not worthy of any reprieve. First, they blame the government for the hard life they are having; pushing the victim to take the risk for a good amount of money. Second, they couldn't even bring in the recruiter that was pointed since 2010 and they have the audacity to not give credit to the right people. Third, the government had them flown to Indonesia together with some lawyers to check the victim's condition amidst the lack of evidence that she is innocent of bringing in illegal drugs. Forth, the family speaks foul words regarding the government's efforts in saving the victim's life.

Here is what I think.

A crime is a crime. They have laws, we have laws. If our laws do not comply to theirs, we cannot do anything about it. If we are too relax of our laws, it is our problem. If the other countries are strict, they have the right to be darn strict. These laws govern them.

Our Kabayan was caught red handed with drugs. Either it be a case of Human Trafficking or she had known this, the drugs were brought in inside her luggage. She can't deny the fact that the drugs were brought in her luggage. This is a fact that the Philippine Government cannot deny and will never neglect. No Matter how much we plead for her release, it is their laws that govern them, not by familiarity or association.

But after all the efforts, who should get the credit for the reprieve? The Philippine Government? The Masses? The Family? The Indonesian Government?

If the execution was pushed through, what would they say? For sure, it will not be a silent moment for the family. But after the reprieve, still peace is not found.

Filipino's are not stupid. Some may be desperate but I am sure she is not stupid. She knew what she was doing. This is why she is facing this head-on. She is a strong woman and I commend her for facing this like the hero that she is for her family.

As for the mom: Ma'am, I am very happy that the reprieve is given and the life of your daughter was spared. But keep in mind that it doesn't mean that she is free. If the Indonesian Government will allow, she will be used as a witness against syndicates that do Drug-Human Trafficking. This means that her life may be spared but it is not anymore safe. Even your own life is not safe. You can be the syndicate's target. Your life might be in danger. So fill yourself up with gratitude and keep it together. If nothing good comes out of your mouth about what the government has done for your daughter, they might not be doing anything for you in the future.

Let's keep on praying.

TO LOVE AGAIN???

Sometimes after so many heartaches, we  struggle on the question should we love again?

Should we invest emotionally to a person whom we think is the next forever.

I have heard from many that there's no such thing as forever. There is just long term relationship.   But with that even said I still personally believe that there is someone for us. And that someone will love us unconditionally forever.

Should you risk to be hurt again?!

YES! Why not?

Love is not the only gamble we do in life.

We will not find until we have searched and should it be a failure, we can always smile and shout: NEXT!

Summer is here! #MisterJuanInDubai

Summer is just around the corner and it is possible that it’s (REALLY, REALLY) coming in fast.

Given this, we have for you tips on how you can have an amazing summer in amazing Dubai.

1. Remember Dubai is in the Middle East – No matter what you do, what you say and where you go – Dubai will always be in the Middle East. This means that summer will be extra hot, extra crisp and extra long. I guess it is not that much of a worry as AC can be anywhere but still, nobody is spared from sweaty underarms and the irritable feeling. Complaining verbally would add insult to the current temperature. So embrace the heat and smile as the burning sensations sets in.

2. AC is life and so is Water – Our body is made up of 75% water and blah, blah and blah. Who cares about this fact when all you would feel for the whole day is thirst and heat. This is why water intake is very essential. No matter what kind of water it is you are drinking – tap, sparkling, carbonated, flavored, iced or not – hydration is key to be cool. Drinking enough water can also help your body adapt to the warm temperature and maybe not bring the thermostat down – making your house/office more Eco-Friendly.

3. Comfort over style – Let us not be victims of the fads and the trends. Since the temperature will surely be peaking, let us hide our hoodies, thick denims and if possible – all things that would be causing you to sweat even more. I didn’t mean to go out and be almost naked – there is a classy way to be cool and to be literally cool. Bring out your pastels, linen materials and all that jazz (visors, sun glasses, fedoras, caps and face towels). It is the season to be laid back and relaxingly colorful.

4. Burning is not an option – Skin care is very important specially during summer when the sun is so happy, it makes you frown and be burned. Get a bottle of sunscreen and be protected from the unwanted UV rays that will make you older and be a prune. You can even chose from a good number of brands in different SPF value. Want a tan? Get a tanning oil or lotion and soak in the sun! Just make sure that you get a tan and not a burn – there is a BIG, BIG, BIG difference.

5. Wear the best accessory – Nothing can bring a sunny and happy disposition down; not even the hottest summer would! So go out, enjoy and never hesitate to SMILE! You may need a little help from caps, sunglasses or even a fedora but a smile would make it more cohesive and perfect!

So go out there and make this weather hotter!
